1. What this site stores
Faro-metal.ro does not use analytics, advertising, behavioural tracking, social-media pixels or embedded social feeds. It uses two small browser local-storage entries to remember settings you ask it to remember. Local storage is similar to a cookie, but it remains inside your browser and is not automatically sent to the website server with each request.

2. Optional Google Maps
The map code is not loaded before consent. Rejecting it does not restrict the rest of the site. If you allow it, your browser connects to Google and Google may receive technical data such as your IP address, browser details, the referring page and approximate location derived from the IP address. Google may also place or read its own cookies; their names and durations are controlled by Google and can change.
The legal basis for loading the embedded map is your consent. You can use the direct “Open Google Maps” link without allowing the embed; following that link takes you away from faro-metal.ro and Google's own terms then apply.
3. Make or change your choice
On your first visit, the banner gives equally visible choices to reject or allow Google Maps. No optional content loads because you scroll or continue browsing.
To change or withdraw the choice, use “Privacy settings” in the footer and select again. Rejecting removes the embedded map immediately. You may also clear this site's storage in your browser settings; the banner will then appear again.
Your rejection is saved only so the site can respect it and avoid asking again on every page. That preference is necessary and does not load Google Maps.
4. Changes and questions
If new analytics, advertising or other optional technology is ever added, this notice and the consent choices must be updated before that technology is enabled. Questions about these settings may be sent to office@caroltech.ro.
